Our rates include an 8 hour rental of the property. Our most common time slot is 1-9 p.m., but we do have other time slots available upon request. You do have the option to add on additional hours if needed for an additional hourly rate. Click here for rental rates and information.
Your rental of our property includes use of the Lakeview Lawn, Stations of the Cross courtyard, the Capen House, Capen Patio & our private dock that overlooks Lake Osceola. All chairs, tables, linens and any additional rentals must be rented through one of our approved rental vendors.
For catering, rentals, valet & pet care, you must select from one of our approved vendors. For any other vendors (planner, desserts, DJ, florist, etc.), you can use whoever you would like. Click here for a list of our approved vendors.
By 9 pm, all guests should be exiting the property. This gives all of your vendors plenty of time to load & clean up.
We do not allow for any amplified sound outdoors on our property. Acoustics are perfect for our patio & lakeview settings. Inside the house, we do have a sound system with speakers in every room. We also have a large Grand Hall that is perfect for your DJ or live band.
Inside the house we only allow LED candles. Outside we do allow for real candles as long as they are inside a votive or hurricane glass.
We do not allow sparklers to be used on our property. We are a museum and historic home so protecting our property & gardens is very important.
We love seeing dogs for ceremony! This is such a fun addition to your special day. Your pet must be accompanied by Fairy Tail Pet Care, who is our approved vendor for pets on property. They bring your pet & stay by their side the whole time they are here. Pets are not allowed inside any of our buildings at any time.
The Capen House staffs one to two Event Assistants for every event. This is determined by your guest & vendor count. Their job is to make sure that all of our rules are being followed & to be on hand for any venue questions.
